We occasionally become aware of collies in need of a safe haven due to a variety of reasons: owners may become unable to care for a beloved pet due to the owner's failing health, unexpected financial difficulties, career changes, or relocation to a home that is not conducive to pet ownership. Some collies develop expensive medical conditions but can still live fulfilling lives with an owner who has the resources to provide for them.  And sadly, some collies find themselves in situations of neglect or worse.  Inland Empire Collie Club members coordinate with Seattle Purebred Dog Rescue to find safe havens for these collies with the goal of eventually placing them in loving and responsible permanent homes.

If you are interested in providing temporary foster care for collies in need, or wish to adopt a rescue collie contact the collie representative for SPDR or our local collie rescue coordinator.
We currently have 2 collies in need of foster care or a permanent home:

If we do not have a rescue available at this time but please fill out an application and when a collie does become available you will be contacted. You can fill out an application here.
